MCS-TCS anyone have one?

TCS is an excellent stock. Easy to get to balance especially with today’s heavier barrels. Bolt in and go like a chassis also. Some with smaller hands complain that the grip is too far from trigger but I have fairly normal sized hands and no issue. You can have them set the mini chassis back a little when ordering if you have smaller hands.

Order one up. I am sure you will like it.

Thanks to @Rob01 , I'm a new adopter of the MCS-TCS stock after five years of running MDT ACCs (first gen) on my centerfires and an MPA BA-Comp on my Vudoo .22. The centerfires are both equipped with Bartlein barrels in Heavy Palma contour cut to 28 inches.

I haven't run the TCS in competition yet... but here are my thoughts after a few hours of range time, including some positional practice on barricades, barrels, etc.
  • Balance: I found the TCS to balance better than the ACCs after removing the buttstock weight that comes with the stock. I'm into my 70s now and I'm looking for ways to shed weight, not add it - for example, I've gone from running 7+ pound Heavy Varmint contour barrels to the 5+ pound Heavy Palma (HP). With my ACCs, balance point is just in front of the mag well. With the TCS with buttstock weight removed and an HP barrel in place, balance point is about four inches in front of the mag well.
  • You will find the TCS puts the barrel 1/4 to 1/2 inch higher off a bench than the ACC with the same bipod setup.
  • Biggest immediately-felt difference is with the grip. Because of the chassis/stocks' different contours, during positional practice I found that muscle memory put my strong hand high enough on the TCS grip that my thumb kinda stuck up in the air instead of against the thumb rest. Moving my hand down maybe half an inch greatly improved feel and steadiness.
  • The TCS grip is about 1.5" shorter measured from the axis of the barrel. I use the grip in conjunction with a little cookie bag for rear support on some props.... just a difference, not a problem.
  • My ACC chassis' comb and length of pull can be adjusted easily by loosening thumb screws and turning the adjustment knobs. You need an Allen key to adjust these items on the TCS. There have been times on prone stages where I found it useful to change my LoP.
I plan to run the TCS in competition next season... I do like the look and feel of the thing, but it's different from my ACCs. Like chocolate and vanilla. Both are great. Just different.

I’m selling a gently used TCS-Max, the newer version
The more I’ve been reading up I’m seeing lots of comments on the distance between the grip and trigger being very long.
I wear a size M glove.
I’m going to need to physically get behind one of these stocks before spending that kind of money or at least get a measurement between the grip and trigger so I can try to simulate it at home.

Right now I’m shooting a few MDT ACC Premier chassis with the Premier Vertical Grip which is smaller than the Elite Vertical Grip and I have the adjustment all the way forward.

You’re not going to like the reach.
(Edit: I have your same grip set up and hate the reach on the tcs so I assume you will too)
