MDT ACC Balance Issues

So I have the MDT ACC in a curtis axiom, area 419 hellfire, MPA one piece mount with a rds top rail, NF ATACR 7-35. I'm having crazy balance issues. I currently have the aluminum bag rider on the rear, and 4 out of 5 interior weights in the front, with an empty slot closest to where the break is. Balance seems to be 2-3 inches in front of the mag well, and I can't seem to understand how I see people with ACC's using 2-3 exterior weights and i'm assuming some interior weights as well. I have an order placed for the rear buttstock weight which should help out, but I'd like to be able to get my gun heavier. Anyone else having problems with this same setup?

Your barrel contour will have a lot to do with where you need to place weight. Its really a trial and error thing. 2-4" in front of the mag well is where you should want the balance point to be. The ACC is one of the easiest chassis' to tune the balance point so there isn't anything wrong with what you have. You just need to nail down the configuration of the weights.

I'm running an Impact action with Proof Competition Contour and Razor Gen II. I'm running the steel bag rider, full internal weights, and 2 sets of external weights, and balances about 3" in front of the magwell, exactly where I want it (middle of a AG Schmedium). Full weight is about 24 lbs. I'd be hard pressed to need any more weight than that, especially running a 6 Dasher or 6 Creed.
