MDT LSS LX bipod mount help.

I spent my Christmas bonus on Black Friday on a MDT LSS LX
I’d like to mount the bipod ( looking at the CAL) in front of the stud . I haven’t bought the bipod yet because I’d like to leave my mounting options open. Wish I could put a spigot mount on it.
I know I’ll have to remove the stud.

remove the sling swivel stud and install a pic or arca rail. you can also install an arca rail over the handle portion in front of the mag slot.
sorry i dont have an up to date pic but can take one tomorrow. pic rail is longer now and arca rail installed where the handle is.

Moved my Tikka to a MDT ACC. Still haven't shot it yet, but I loved my T1X so much in it that I sold both my Bravos and went to MDT's. They're heavy, so only use if it's specifically for PRS. Would not take this hunting. I almost kept the Bravo as a backup Hunting stock. What about the...

Thank you @Gee Kay but I’d like to get the bipod out more.

I’d like to do something like this but I don’t want to have the ARCA rail all the way down the chassis.



@flyer1a I believe the clamp in this picture is yours. Do you have a short rail that can mount to m-lok that can over hang a few inches without problems?

mine has the 18 inch hand guard on it so i got the bipod as far as it can go... arca on the ess goes over the hand grip. balances really nice on the tripod with the heavy varmint barrel.
