Meanwhile in Milwaukee..

I remember pegging cars as a kid with snowballs. Dudes used to get so fucking pissed. Lots of chases. I do believe that if some of these guys had a gun on them, they might have taken shots at us. Fucking road rage bullshit

i chased two kids up a tree once upon a time....not that the car was worth getting mad over, it was more to teach them a lesson. they both ran up the tree like that was going to save them. i stood down there and told them i was better at climbing trees than they were, and if i had to come up to get them, they were going to take the fast way down. my guess is that was the end of their “throwing things at cars” career.

when i was 4, i remember getting yelled at for it.

We always thought it would be funny if some delinquent bought a sack of cheap bean burritos from Taco Bell. Eat half of one and throw the other half into oncoming traffic.

i have no problem with that guy taking a few shots at them

people have to learn there are consequences and sometimes they are disproportionate

if they catch the guy...he goes to jail as the LAW says

kids throw a snow ball at my car

i swerve know knowing what happened

i kill a pedestrian...then i go to jail

not happening

Thats about the most stupid comment Ive heard in a long time.:( They were CHILDREN throwing snowballs at a car for
Christ's sake...thats what kids do. I would have gotten out and thrown a few back then maybe talked to them about being careful...

im not advocating shooting children but there are consequences for actions no matter what the age.

how about the pre teens that tossed a icy snow ball off a overpass in the next town over and it crashed through the windshield and the lady and passenger died after she crashed

but they were just kids....

I remember in 7th grade being in a running snowball fight with classmates on the way home from school. I pitched for my baseball team and radar had me throwing 78-80mph. The other guys were running for cover behind parked cars, trees, etc. Well I hit the tail light of a car and shattered it with just a snowball. Owner came out of the house and knew me. I paid for the tail light myself from what little earnings I had saved from shoveling snow and other odd jobs. That was in 1979. When the coach put me on the mound for batting practice my teammates suddenly lost interest in getting their turn to bat. once in awhile one would get away from me.

Thats an entirely different scenario and the consequences should equal the action. A snowball w/o rocks in it isnt really going to hurt anything, exp. When thrown by a 12 year old. An icy chunk off an overpass isnt a snowball.

Better take away firecrackers too.

No being pissy...
Same scenario:
Snowball by 12 year old
Car swerved
Hits a jogger
No rocks needed

and I would take away firecrackers because my health insurance pays for dumbass that holds one in their hand and looses a finger or 2.

if I didn’t cost me money..take off all the fingers you want.

Great attitude. Take away guns too they cost you healthcare money. Also cheese burgers and soda.

Il agree healthcare needs to be changed

Hi,

Sounds like just another generation of...

PS: Don't throw shit at cars and you will not suffer the consequences!

I was in 5th or 6th grade at the bus stop for school in the morning. I tossed a slushball at a passing car and it broke the windshield. The driver was a middle aged guy and was really pissed. He wanted to beat my ass, but knew he would get in trouble. I never thought a slushball would break a windshield.

Kids do stupid shit, I did plenty.

Very, very large lemons throw just like those mini footballs.

Not that I would know anything about that.

Small, dead owls being thrown horizontally will freak a fucker out.

Not that I would know anything about that either...

up where i grew up there were apples and walnuts, we never threw them
and shoot crab apples w your wrist rocket, i know nothing
boston snowballs? that looked hard like a q ball??? nope

Get pissed, snatch them up and march their ass to their parents and proceed to ream them out, call the police to take a report and put the fear of jail into them..but shooting kids for snowballs? SNOWBALLS?

This is why we can't have nice things, because seemingly nobody has a lick of fuckin' common sense or discretion anymore.

A dumbass kid throwing a snowball (with no ice or rock or slush or shit, just a snowball) should have consequences, but it ain't a capital offense.

I think most are missing it or I’m not explaining correctly.

No one should be getting shot at in general never mind children...and if they do the law takes care of it.

Children need to understand there are consequences. Helicopter moms aren’t there to save you.

In the current society, consequences are not always proportional. They are mostly way out as we all know.

this should be told to all children to show them what they think is harmless could result in a disaster.

Snow? We just threw rocks when we were really bored... till a 20 something yr old chased us on foot threatening to beat the shit out of us. Don't know how I wasn't caught, I was the youngest and not the fastest. Last time I ever did that shit.

Back in the mid 70’s we threw shit all the time at cars mainly cherry plums, the neighbor hood was full of those tree’s no shortage off

ammo anywhere you were playing, lol. Another pass time was stealing the chrome valve stems off the low riders cars that was pretty risky

and I did not have the balls as a kid to do it. But back in those days if you got caught you were going to get your ass kicked for fucking

with there cars they were serious about there rides. And if you did get caught and ran home all beat up and stupid enough to tell your

folks what really happened you might get a second ass whoopin for stealing people’s property or the folks just saying you got what you

deserved. Back in those days there were consequences for your actions and we knew it.

But pulling a shot gun out on a kid for being a kid is over the top, not acceptable and that dude needs to be dealt with, one way or another.

Then there was this time someone had a big slushy, softball sized snowball.
Then down the road came a streetcar (let's name the place Toronto) with an open window.
There's a dude sitting in the open window seat.
The windup. The release. Through the window....

Of course, I also know nothing about that either.

There was this train that always went by at the same time and the conductor would wave from the glass window at the kids. There this kid that could hit a beer can with a rock at 25 yards most every time who threw a rock at the window. There were railroad police in the neighborhood the next day.

Glad I know nothing about that.

There was an old lady sitting on the out house throne and some kid shoved a lit Cherry Bomb through a knothole into the shit below.

Glad I know nothing about that.

Kids do stupid stuff and growing up we did lots of stupid things including throwing snowballs at cars .
We also use to get a stick with some spring in it and put a green apple on it and you could launch a apple about half a city block that way .
In my neighborhood you were risking a ass kicking if the driver got a hold of you .
Or if the driver dragged your ass home to the old man . Who would beat your ass . After making you apologize to the driver .

Hell we were throwing those big Christmas light bulbs at cars one year and tagged a unmarked cop car .
The cop actually drove on and came back around behind us and grabbed us both up .
Sneaky bastard !
Brought us both home and talked to our parents .
Yea, we both got a beating .:D

Was driving by a shopping mall with a big empty parking lot many years ago .
About 5 kids were at the edge of the parking lot . one of them throws a snowball and tags my car .
I pull in to the lot and they have no where to run and hide with in a hundred plus yards .
They just stand there , not knowing what to do .
My buddy and I are both about 19 or twenty .

I pull up to these kids they looked to be about 12 or 13 years old .
I roll my window down . I ask which one of you dumb fucks threw the snowball .
They all immediately pointed at one kid .
I said , first off you are a dumb ass . You threw that and had no where to run and escape .
That's a good way to get yourself a ass kicking !
2nd get some new friends , Because these pussies ratted you out in zero point zero seconds !

My friend and I laughed as we drove away .

The majority who have posted in this thread seem to ignore the apparent demographics of the 6100 block of west birch street in Milwaukee. Both the kids and the shooter are likely not the type concerned with gun laws, nor snowball laws for that matter. Highly unlikely that this shooter is concerned about the impact of this incident on his LEGAL gun rights.
