Rifle Scopes Meopta scopes

How do these scopes compare with all other mid-level scopes? I am looking at the
4-12x 50. Are they worth looking at? Would you use one as a mid level under 500 yds. Hunting scope?

I can't answer for the 4-12x but I do own the 1-4x. The glass is very bright and clear. It's also built like a tank. I'd almost hesitate to consider it midrange, even though it isn't at the high end. The one last thing that I like about Meopta, is their transferable lifetime warrenty. I'd use one for hunting in a second.

Their glass is very clear..you won't be dissapointed. It is comparable to most high end optics. Id use one in a second as long as it had covered turrets (their turrets turn real easy).

meopta = zeiss conquest level glass, and for the money the 30mm scopes are a great value as well

great scopes. If meopta entered the tactical market with good turrets and mil/mil reticle at this price point some other scope manufacturers would be in deep trouble.

IIRC some of the conquest scopes are made by meopta.

The MeOpta are great scopes and offer great glass.

Also look at Swaroski and Zeiss.
