I think he pulled out due to a conflict with his work.

Wished they would have a group of old fat crippled bastards that were blind out of one eye and couldn't see out of the other and couldn't hit a bull in the ass with a snow shovel I would give it all I had!

It's 100 grand worth of PRIZES, not necessarily $100,000. Just something to consider. You could of course try to sell everything. That's what I'd do.

I read that years ago the Mexican smugglers used Spud Guns to shoot kilos of cocaine across the Rio Grande, into big nets they had waiting on this side....mabey you could get some lessons from them, Cap.

    Re: Message from TOP SHOT

Just a little FYI on the contract with TOP SHOT!!

I was going to season one and the language and rights in the contract are pretty severe.

Another top notch 3 gun shooter who is a buddy and also 1 semester from being a lawyer was in the process of doing the show as well.

Once he read thru the contract and rights that they want on YOU the shooter he was like thanks but no thanks.

To put it in a nut shell they own your name and can control your activities. If you try to make public appearances or shoot matches or shoot for other companies and things like that you have to get written permission from the show to do so or even mention you were on the show.

Paid appearances or training seminars you have to get permission to do and they have monitary rights on what you do.

There was a long list of shit.

    Good luck!

After all the years I have invested in practice, I can honestly say that if I ever performed that poorly, on TV or not, I probably would never touch a gun again. So in the extreeme off chance I get on the show I will most likely suck having just jinxed myself.

    Re: Message from TOP SHOT

I got a call from the a casting producer for season 2....but when I realized how much time I would have to take away from work.....well....there went that idea....

    Re: Message from TOP SHOT

Ed Kugler sent me an app for another show they are producing, had to say thanks but no - special operators and martial artists...didn't like the idea tho. I've seen the companies that make these films, it's NOT the broadcast channel - they are private companies....

But being in school, house, pets, girlfriend - can't afford to be gone a month or even a week if I sucked that bad.

He is my boss. I can tell you this. Mike is a hell of a shot with a rifle and one hell of a guy. They made him out to be a dick on the show but he is not. I shoot with him once or twice a week. I dont know everything that happened but I know that the black guy (Andre) shot as much as Mike did to hit the target at 50 yards. They edited it out for some reason. Andre could shoot a rifle, something was wrong with the rifle for him to miss at 50 so much. Anyways, season 3 I am out. I have better obligations going. However, one of the other instructors here is trying out. They called me up to see if I wanted to try out for season 3. I would rather compete in the real competitions. BTW look out for Seeklander this year on the 3 gun circuit. He has been winning the local matches we have with ease. That being said, he is mortal, prone to mistakes like the rest of us.
