This one looks better than what the CMP describes as their best non-auction grade, "Service Grade" SN in the 1.8 million range. Remington-Rand frame and slide. All proper markings including inspection/acceptance stamp of Lt. Col. Frank J. Atwood (RJA) who was on duty in that area from 1942 to 1946.
The only boogers I can find are the period-correct barrel bushing shows some pitting/past rust of ancient to us origin.
