I'm going over to their 1000yd prone comp on Sunday the 28th, over at AEDC. Anyone else from here going? Couple of my coworkers are going as well.

Would love to meet up with anyone going. I'll be easy to spot, just look for the greenest newbie you've ever seen.

Very cool. We'll have to make sure and at least great one another.

My real name is Charles Shepherd. I'll be shooting a Remington 700 SPS Varmint in a Bell & Carlson Medalist stock. Certainly not F-Class normal equipment but it's what I have and what I want to learn to run.

I need to get with some of you guys. Tullahoma is not too far from me. Are there any links to the match rules or any other info? I would have to get some practice in for sure.

Looks like Jim has called this one off, posted on Accurate Shooter:

Shooters,

The weather predicted for tomorrow is not conducive to a full day of enjoyable shooting with good attendance (especially with the Regional in Memphis also this weekend). Therefore, tomorrow's match is canceled. Fortunately, we have another match at AEDC scheduled for next Saturday 3/30 run by Tim Kreier. Since I will not be able to attend that match, I will mail out the membership cards that I have on Monday morning so that they will hopefully get to you in time for the 3/30 match.

Enjoy your Sunday, and keep your fingers crossed for better weather next Saturday.

Franklin, TN

Tullahoma Sunday 3/24
(NOAA): Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. High near 60. East northeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming south southwest in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 100%.
(Weather Channel): Showers and a few thunderstorms likely... it will become windy at times as well. Gusty winds and small hail are possible. High 57F. SSW winds at 5 to 10 mph, increasing to 20 to 30 mph. Chance of rain 60%.

This match is still on. Keep your fingers crossed for good weather!

Jim I see were there is a small chance of showers, I know everyone including you would like to see this shoot go ahead. Maybe here would be a good place to mention anyone having one of those shade awnings to bring it with them, if you are amenable to doing that again. Last time it woeked very well. Me I hoping for no rain but the awning is already loaded into the truck.

Would like to see some of you folks there, Jim puts on a very good shoot.

I can never keep up with the 6-10 different websites that people would like me to post updates on, so instead I try to stick to posting on Accurate Shooter and also sending out "bcc" notes to the 300+ people on the e-mail distribution list. I agree canopies are a good idea so I was planning to keep an eye on the weather and send out a canopy reminder on Friday night.
