Rifle Scopes Midwest Industries Extreme Duty Mounts?

Are you trying to kill my buzz here? I've just got it in my mind that's what I'm interested in.

haha, no, sorry, not trying to kill your buzz. just trying to save you some money and hassle...

I go back to Lowlight saying QD mounts have no business on a precision rifle. I can't find where he said this but here's something from Accuracy Tech saying essentially the same thing -- Just Say No

Haha. I have to concur. I’ve got a QD on my HD rifle just in case I need to get it off quickly for the iron sights.

To be honest, you probably won’t get much feedback on the MI. For that money, I am guessing a lot of people just go with a more proven platform.

I have 2 of the 30mm with the 2qd levers and 2 1” with 2qd levers. They work well. I don’t switch scopes around and back to the original so can’t tell you about the repeatability but I can say they are really solid mounts. Those levers can really clamp hard.

These were given to me otherwise I would buy permanent attach ones given a choice.

If you not finding what you need you can always stuff a tool in your bag or get a little pouch that slips on you sling. I thing tab gear sells them. I have them on my hunting rifles with a few Allen keys or a cut or wrench in case something gets screwy.
Scratch/mark a indicating mark in the screw and when tightned to proper torque mark the mount.
Do the same for the other rifle.
No more torque. Not a "quick" release but able to be moved around.
