Here's one I made a play on and passed up on monday...looking for better one. This bull was 195 meters from me. Figured this guy to be about 320 B&C. Saw over 150 elk and 45 to 50 bulls in three days...

Thats my benchmark as well.....until the last weekend!! I like my freezer full of elk meat in December!!

Yea but just think Owen you didnt have to pack elk meat up out of some deep hole in the breaks........at least not on that trip!.........grin!

taken 18 elk but as the season draws nearer the end.... those bulls will look better. I have never found one that I could eat the horns on
