My question is how do you calculate drop in inches for use of the mildot master without using a ballistic calculator. Do you use the 1 mil at 100 yds equal 3.6" then use that number at other distances by counting the number of mils you dial into your scope to figure out the drop in inches? Does this make any sense?

Re: mildot master ?

Use the MM to help calculate distance, then referance that distance to drop charts you have developed for your particular rifle.

The best way of getting dope for your rifle is by shooting and logging that information. Developing drop charts can be done using a ballistic calculator or by simply shooting at increasing distances and creating your own. Mildot Master is an awesome tool and should be in every long distance shooters gear.
