Rifle Scopes mildot question

I'm confused, If you have a "MILdot" scope that does not mean you have a MIL reticle? You can have a Mildot reticle that is MOA?

Please correct me if im wrong

mildot reticle (mil reticle) or a moadot reticle (moa reticle)
choose only one.

A MILdot reticle is a MILdot reticle. If it's MOA it's NOT Mildot.

Ok so Leupold mark 4 with mildot reticle is classed as mil/moa?
