Gunsmithing Milling the flutes out of a 300 win mag ai mag

For wsm clearance. What would happen? Would it work? Hate to tear up a mag that expensive.

Why not trade someone for a 338 lapua mag? The 338s fit the same bottom metal.

I started a 7 saum project with the 300 mags. Ended up going to the 338s . They work great.

It doesn't hurt a thing. I've got 10 mags to do in the shop right now for a 7mm RSAUM.

Thx. I've got 10 round 300 mags and thinking of doing a 7wsm with my new action. It looked like it would work but wasn't sure
