Gunsmithing Minimum barrel diameter for 5/8x24 ?

What is the minimum barrel diameter you need to thread 5/8x24? How large of a shoulder do you need when threading a suppressor / muzzle device?

Are you going to direct mount the can or use an adapter that threads onto the muzzle?

No apologies needed, sometimes the search is hard to use. Just trying to share some good feedback I got. Given why was said, I might go the adapter route on a rifle I was thinking about having threaded, barrel is just a little small it seems.
