Minimum case size for .223 casings?

I found that the maximum case length to be 1.760". I have a zip lock bag full of brass I saved from budget priced ammo and my Lyman book says to trim to 1.750". When I measured a few of the casings, some were like 1.737 which made me wonder if maybe, that might be too short to reload? Any advice on a minimum length would sure be a big help. Thanks!

Already re-sized? If not, they will get longer as the are sized.

But the short brass is fine for plinking ammo, but may effect accurcy slightly, and give a bit more throat erosion if used in large quantities and hot loads.

I've shot them without any problems.
