Minimum focus distance is specified for most high end scopes. In the case of Vortex Viper PST, FFP scopes, it is 50 yards. I suspect focus issues occur at less than this distance.

I am looking for data in the form of groups shot closer than the specified 'minimum focus distance'. What happens to accuracy at shorter ranges, if anything?

Other than the target losing sharpness and clarity at close distances, I wouldn't think it would affect accuracy much if any. Things like mechanical height over bore would come into play more than anything at close distances (10-50yds).
