Not sure how deep these actually need to be seated, hopefully you guys can help. The bullet in question is the Lehigh, 750gr Hollow Point. In the picture I have shown the Lehigh bullet and a Hornady 750gr A-Max for reference.

The Lehigh bullet only has a small driving band ( approx. .210" long) that is actually .510" diameter. In front of that, the bullet has a recess( approx. .200" long) that is .493" diameter.
In front of the recess, the bullet blows up to .502" diameter and then tapers to the tip from that point.

The Hornady bullet is actually .510" diameter for approx. .800" and then tapers to the tip.

What is the minimum depth I need to seat the Lehigh bullet in the case? I've already checked and know I cannot seat the bullet anywhere near the rifling in my barrel ( Spider Firearms, Ferret 50 Supercomp with hybrid chamber) but would like to safely seat the bullet out as far as possible. How deep does the driving band have to be set in the case neck? Also, will it be ok to not crimp the bullets and just rely on neck tension?

I would think it could be set approx. 1/4 way down the neck (about where it's shown in the photo above the case) and be safe but I'm not sure. Even if it were seated deeper (say to the bottom of the neck) due to the design and dimensions listed above, no more of the bullet would be in contact with the case neck above the driving band.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks
