Anybody else get annoyed by sun glare? I was told by a member here that a PMII shade should work on my zp5 but have not been able to find one locally in order to try before I buy. I've already ordered and tried a Kahles shade but it was way too damn small. Anybody know from experience, specifically which shade will work on my zp5 3-15x50??? I would hate to order again and have to go through the process of returning.

The Kahles sunshade thread is also the same for the 5-25. The color does not match 100% though.

Edit: Oh damn, sorry I should read the whole post first. :D But if length was the issue you should be able to stack the Kahles sunshades.

a sheet of stiff cardboard or poster board 3.00 dollars worth of supplies and some thing to keep it attached like tape and you could make your own sun shade , not to mention a good crafting time with the kids if you have any , maybe even bedazzle it lol

I know this is not the 3-15 so this may be of no help to the OP’s current dilemma but it’s all I have for now. Based on this, I’m very tempted to order the M5Xi 50mm shade to try on the ZP5 315.

I thought about the idea of creating my own type of shade out of some thing and attach it somehow, similar to the example a few posts above. If it'll get the glare out of my sight picture, then I'd like to think it's worth considering. Then I thought, how am I going to protect my lens when I lean the rifle on a tree or T post and leave it there for a while. The objective lens will be facing up, thus being able to catch any dust, etc.

I've already tried, the 50mm Kahles shade with no luck. I'd love to try a PMII or the Steiner but will wait on ordering online and keep looking for one to try in person.

These days I'm spending a lot of time out of the city and in the field. I'd hate to have to go through the return process, having to physically go in a post office, etc. Not to mention, paying shipping both ways.

I'm not going to ask anyone to buy/order one online, but psychosniper, if you do, that would be awesome.
