I mentioned the disappointing results of load development using 62-grain military pulled (or IMI) bullets to an accomplished long-range competitor. He said the best you could expect from the bullets would be minute of stop sign.
The AR15 used is a custom build and fired from a rest. 5-shot "groups" were on the order of 2 inches at 100 yards. I'm accustomed to sub-MOA results from the rifle.
Before I continue tilting at that windmill, is that an accurate assessment of the potential of those bullets?
