Mixed powder

I have mixed 2 powders together h380 and imr3031 what can I do

Way different burn rate and different powder type makes it excellent fertilizer. Sorry for the loss.

I saw a thread where a guy measured the difference in size of the grains and sifted them apart. Just burn it, dont throw it in the trash, that is dangerous.

I would try sifting it. H-380 is a very uniform round ball powder. 3031 is a good sized tubular extruded powder. Seems of all of the powders to be mixed, these two would be the easiest to sift. You could do it in small amounts over a plastic tray to see there are no pieces of the 3031 getting through.

With powder prices right now, I'd give it a try. If it doesn't work, toss it.

With all the nitrogen in gunpowder, it would be a waste to throw it in the trash, not to mention the hazard to the incinerator operator when it hits flame. Even if you only have one tiny patch of crabgrass, fertilizer.

But there has to be a story behind how the two powders got mixed. OP @Jhatto is holding out on us.

get a real fine tweezers and a magnifying loupe and then...throw the whole mess out.
