I had to move a few Weatherby mark V rifles from one location to another. I removed the bolts and had them together wrapped in a towel. ( I mixed them up)

Two are .257 and one is a .300

They each look exactly the same and fit either way.

Am I screwed or does it matter?

I know I'm a dumb ass for not marking them. hindsight...

On all my Weatherbys the last few digits of the serial number are on the bolt handle.
The factory marked them for you.

Re: Mixed up bolts

I'm getting ready to have SAC do another bolt knob conversion and I'm picking a different knob for the second one just for this reason. This will give me a way of identifying the bolts.
