I will be shipping initial orders for this new DBM by April 1st.
Short action only. Accepts AICS 5 and 10rd as well as AW 10rd magazines. I do have dealers and builders that will be using / stocking it but they are not supplied yet.

All proven and time tested features* from the SENTINEL Combat Stock DBM system. (*Couldn't fit the stock bolt retaining snap rings from the SENTINEL design.)

This hardware is manufactured on CNC that offers extremely uniform dimensions from unit to unit while at the same time allowing me to get all corners fully chamfered so that there are no sharp edges everywhere

I have over 2,100 of the same latch and spring in circulation via the SENTINEL DBMs.
Over half of those are L.E.

So far, I have heard of only one issue of a detached mag about 3 years ago and that was from an officer that acknowledged that he was running with his index finger against the latch at the time. I went into SolidWorks and added the recess you see around the latch pin on each side to offer a spot to park a finger away from the latch but still out of the trigger guard when moving.

Terry ,
What inlet will be required on the stock ?

The inlet is the same as the KMW Sentinel DBM or Surgeon.

Manners, McMillan and several others already have the inlet programmed. This and other info is listed on the web page link.

I looked very close at M5 outer dimensions and decided to stick with the original profile we were already designing around.
I will try to pull a dim drawing of the profile over on SolidWorks and get a 1:1 dimensional PDF made up. Once done, I will link the downloadable PDF on the web page for the Mk-1.

Best,
Terry

How close of the Surgeon is it, just want to make sure because my McMillan is already inletted for the Surgeon and I like my stuff to fit nice and look properly fitted. If it matches almost perfect I will buy one this week.

It shares the same inlet as a Surgeon. The Surgeon originated from the SENTINEL bottom hardware and this DBM is the same as the SENTINEL except for vertical material removed around the stock bolts.

The McMillan A5 that is modeled with it in the pictures above has a Surgeon SA inlet that was cut at McMillan.

Nice!!! Thank you sir. Let me know where to send money

Another beautiful product Terry. I typically don't care very much about which brand of DBM, it's usually builder's choice. But I will specifically request this one for the next project.

Anyone had one of these shipped yet? Still not showing up in his store.

Yes, as always Terry is very busy and I just called him and ordered one direct. Had tracking the same day and it arrived within the week. Top notch stuff too, wouldn't expect anything less though.

Keep padding your post count with meaningless posts on dead threads and watch how your post count goes to zero. Again.

PS, I don't GAF how long you've been here or on any other version of the Hide
