Im building an almost mk12 rifle and was looking for a rail system for it. i like a for end tha tapers down to the receiver and is slim line. just my preference. i know its not what is supposed to be on a mk12 but its what i like and im shooting it. any ideas would help

The JP handguard and Lancer carbon fiber handguard both do this and are slim and rigid. If you get a Lancer, be sure to get it from Rainier and not Midway. The ones at Midway USA do not come set up with a top rail.

looks freakin awesome. i think I'm gonna go with the 15" jp. gotta have the top rail for my nv. like the atlas on front. where did u get the prs stock?
I think I got the stock from Rainier Arms a year or so ago. Just replaced it with a SOPMOD and JP captured recoil system last week though. I like it more than the PRS so far.
If you haven't ordered the WOA barrel yet and you are set on the JP...go ahead and order it at the same time as Brownells has the 15" model in stock and ready to roll, along with every JP accessory rail size you could want...might as well get them all at one spot.
Also, search around for discounts from Brownells too as you should be able to at least get free S&H if not other great discounts given the size of the order you are racking up!! On the PRS...there was a thread within the last few days for sub $200 PRS stock which is just an AWESOME price that you'll not beat. If not that deal, then Hide member and vendor "ceylon" with DeltaOutdoorsman.com also generally has black PRS stock in stock for $200 or so which is another incredible price and from one of the single finest folks out there!
ETA: on Brownells discounts..."EB2" or "EB1" minus the " " are generally good for free S&H at a minimum...there may be others as well though if you shop around.
