Rifle Scopes Mk5, Razor2, Atacr Mil-XT... HELP!!!!

I was dead set on ordering the MK5 last night until I saw the new Mil-XT reticle on the NF..... and im in love with it.

I looked through all three (non mil-xt NF atacr) today and just can not decide. i originally wrote off the razor2 due to weight and exterior color but the guy at Buds told me it was the #1 seller for a reason so now I am even more torn.

Can i get some opinions and experiences with either please. I need help.

Pick the reticle you like best. It’s going to be what you have to stare at and engage with most of the time.

The razor is best seller because of its bang for the buck and warranty. No necessarily because it’s the best overal as far as quality or reticle. Not that it’s not a very good optic, just that it’s not as simple as saying it’s the best selling for a reason.

mil-xt isn't out yet as u know,. But i just put in my pre order today. I currently own NF, Kahles, Vortex, Steiner, and Athlon. can't say anything bad about any of them. But really looking forward to the new reticle of the NF. If i like it as much as i think i will, some of those scopes will b on here for sale. Did look thur a MK5 at Cabela's last week, it was a nice scope , but just wasn't the scope for me.

Have 3 G2 razors and have been very happy with them. What about the Athlon Cronus Btr?

ive ran several ATACR (4-16 & 7-35), Kahles 624, Razor II, Razor AMG, Leupold MK8. I currently have the mil-xt 7-35 on preorder and im planning on that being the "one".
Razor II: I like the color, I like the reticle, I like the turrets, love the peace of mind the warranty/CS gives. I didnt like the wieght. I hunt w/ this rifle, so that was the deal killer.
Razor AMG: Love the weight, like the reticle. Biggest complaint is the numbers next to the axis instead of on the edge of the tree. Probably my 2nd favorite overall
ATACR: Love the durability, didnt like the reticle - mil-XT fixes that.
Kahles: no complaints, just got curious about the 7-35 ATACR. It didnt wow me and didnt disappoint in any way.
Mk8: again, didnt do anything to disappoint, but i didnt find any of the features warranted the asking price, and at that time, the CCH reticle wasn't available. That reticle has me curious again.

My current "go-to" list would look like this based on what I need my scope to do

1) ATACR Mil-XT (preferably 7-35)
2) Razor AMG
3) Kahles 624
4) Razor II
5) Leupold Mk8

You are not going to go wrong with any of those options. I have owned several of each. To me the Razor is too heavy, and I hate the turrets. The NF is excellent all the way around. I am now shooting the MK5's with the CCH mainly due to the weight. Thus far I am very happy with both the 3-18 & 5-25.

If you can get a razor for 1600 like me then go with that option since the others will cost another thousand. 10oz is nothing to me but I sorta get if you want to save weight

You can an ATACR or mk5 for a few hundred more, not thousand

Don’t mind him. He’s heavily biased towards vortex.

Gen 2 is a great optic, but it’s not the best.
