MKII TR clunky safety

Plenty of TR threads going but I didn't want to high jack any. I have a new TR and while the safety works as it should, when going from safe to fire it resists, then "clunks" into place. When going from fire to safe, it's smooth like a Rem 700. Are they all like this or is mine hanging up on something?

Mine is RIGHT out of the box Mark II TRSR... and it does the same..

I, like everyone else here, ran straight to the safe and checked mine also. Mine does it also. So safe to say it is suppose to....
