I have been looking at trying out some night force optics but everything I have been finding is moa. All other optics I have are mil/mil with associated reticles. Is it going to be a big pain in a@@ to keep track of conversion when all of the rifles are shoot on a regular bases?

Anyone doing this that can offer tips?

I suggest getting the scope you really want, if thats mil/mil, do some more searching or put an add in the WTB section.

I know both and use both, i print my dope cards with both and Ballistic AE will spit out whatever I want.

The only conversions that would have to be done is if you in fact and , no shit, have a spotter calling out corrections in mil (correctly) and/ or you really can spot your own shots with the reticle.

One of my scopes is Mil/Moa. need to correct by .5 mil (hold) 2 mil wind (hold) dial for 550Y (12.5 MOA)

If you are shooting by yourself and are using a ballistic app., it makes no difference. If you are shooting with a group and are calling shots/spotting for each other, then it is best that everyone is on the same page. I really like some of the Mil-Mil scopes on the market right now, but not all of the companies offer MOA ( Steiner ). The rest of my group shoots MOA.....so I am limited to scope choices due to the ease calling shots with everyone using the same system. I have tried it, and it is a pain in the ass being the Mil-Mil guy in a group of MOA scopes. If you shoot alone, buy what ever you want. Just my experience.
