Moby get's his new AR 10

Got it from Gary Sansone (FFL out of Florida)
He hooked me up with lots of advice and follow up.
$1400. I also purchased a complete reloading set up as I want to learn how. I'm totally new to the platform. Went to the range with FMJ ammo only to learn I couldn't shoot FMJ there. So I purchased their soft nose rounds and broke in the barrel. I shot 30 rounds mopping between each round. Armalite says a Chromed barrel doesn't need a break in but some folks over at AR10T.com said it's always a good idea. So I did. Just LOVE the big boom it makes. While I'm no sniper type yet I put them all on target at 100 yards with a 4X Bushnelle hunting scope. I need to dail it in tighter however. At a $1+ per shot I want to get some brass and reload. Met a guy that will get some for me from a police range. Once I learn to reload I'll shoot far more often.
Anyway...this is my new toy. I also got a great deal from sansone on Mags. I got 6 20 round mags, 2 hard to come by 25 round mags, and 2 10 round mags. I'm ready for zombies! LOL

Enjoy the rifle and if you haven't already done so, check out the reloading forum and read "reloading 101, 201" at a minimum. Invaluble threads for the new reloader.

I saw you rifle over on another forum. It looks like a good place to start. Like resii64 said you got an addiction, but it without a doubt the most fun I have ever had being ill. Enjoy the rifle and enjoy your time behind the reloading bench, it is an addiction all its own.

Nice rifle. Most ranges will not allow you to shoot FMJ rounds....damages their targets.

FMJ or steel core/bi-metal? I shoot FMJ all day long at SoCal ranges and it's fire season. The only thing not allowed is magnetic ammo.

Nice rifle Moby. Hope you enjoy the BRD, treatment is real expensive.
