Gunsmithing Mod 70 Question

Looking at a Mod 70 that came from the factory as a .270 Win. Might take it home if I can have it rebarreled to 6mm Rem without a lot of fuss. So, will the 6mm feed through the rifle without changing the feed lips, mag box and follower.

Should work fine, considering both 270 and 6Rem are very close in diameter along their length.

Thank you, Turbow. Saw the .270 today and it is a neat package. It is a blind mag, but it would be a nice rifle for a conversion
