OK, I picked up a S&W Shield in .40 S&W.
(Up to now, I've been a Glock guy and I have a G36 for concealed carry).
So, what are the preferred modifications to grip, trigger and hi-vis night sights?
Any thing else to make this an even better concealed carry piece?

I'm debating Big Dots for mine. Seems you either love them or hate them, and I've never used them.

my friend took a soldering iron to his grip and stippled it. It sticks in your hand like it was covered in course sandpaper... I like it a lot and I would do it to my XDM if I could

10-8 performance makes a good rear sight. I like to run fiber optic fronts on my pistols, take your pick on brand. Other than sights I think the shield is pretty good out of the box. Though I would like it if APEX would make a aluminum trigger for it.
