I posted last year about this rifle I had in cosmoline or heavy grease and you guys let me know what it was. Thank you.
I cleaned it and shot it and was very happy with what it did.
This year while doing the yearly maintance of my collection, this rifle came up again.
I gave it the once over as to rust etc. but thought abought what was posted here and gave it a really nice bore clean.
A little bit of lead but not much.
I took it to the farm and shot about 50 rds through it and was amazed at the accuracy.
I then took it over to the neighbors prairie dog town and hit 14 of 14 shots. Many of them head shots where the dog was just peaking out.
The length of the barrel using standard velocity rounds reduced the noise a lot.
I do not plan to use this as a shooter, but am sure someone out there appreciates the fact that I shot it and it is truly a remarkable barrel to shoot. Most accruate I have seen in it's original form.ie a military traing rifle.
It is now in the safe, cleaned and oiled and waiting for next year.
Thanks to all that helped me recognize what this rifle is. Regards, FM

I think you are right.
I am taking it out tomorrow and getting the PDs again.
Were it not for us, these neat rifles would never see the light of day again let alone be fired again.
I know my family will shoot it and love it but not many others can have that option as to places to shoot.
I will take the best of care of it but shoot it and ENJOY it none the less.
Thanks for you input. Regards, FM
PS. My kids know not to dry fire a rimfire of any sort. TRAINING

Yeah i was curious and opened this thread just from the odd name alone. I nedd pic's of this rifle

But sounds pretty cool none-the-less, hope you enjoy it for many many years to come. Good thing about typical 22LR barrels is they don't get shot out very fast at all. And considering it's a military rifle it should serve for even longer than average

I am not too computer savvy but will ask my Old Lady if she knows how to put pictures up.
I usually have my youngest son do these kinds of things for me. It is easy for him, plug in this thingee, poke that button and zip, pop, bust it is on it's way and goes to the right place.
It should happen that way as I sent him through college and he got a degree in computer science.
Instead, he saw a sign at the airport where he was living that gave the old Come On, the first one is free.
Just like the Pusher Man's thing, he took it hook line and sinker and pulled the float under too.
It took him a couple of years of lessons, then giving lessons and now he if a Bush Pilot in Alaska.
Needless to say, I am Damn Proud of him and glad he is enjoying what he does. He is an airplane driver on multi engine aircraft and heavy singles too.
With that thought in mind, you can pretty well bet that I won't be getting any pictures up too soon.
I pray for his safe passage every day. Regards, FM

Since I am not computer savvy and don't know how to do things, I would take pictures and send the little picture card to someone via snail mail that knows how to do this.
It is a neat rifle and I love it. Kind of a rifle that went through that period.
It looks just like a Mauser 98 except in.22 LR.
Stacking rod, that I mistakenly thought was a cleaning rod, and sights that fit the period.
I have no intention of selling it and am not entertaining any offers to buy it.
Just something that is neat and I can hit shit, ie cow pies, and prarrie dogs out to 200m.
If interested, PM me
Regards, FM

I colect Trainers and have the later version of the KKW madde by Gustloff. They took over the production of the KKW from BSW. Here is a pic of mine

Unless that's the bathroom of a 1800's farmhouse you need to do some redecorating...

Well the table is early 1900's vintage and it is my sisters house where I took the pic. I've had to stay hear to recover from my medical problems for almost the past year. Heart valve replaced twice, three blood infections and a stoke has not been easy. I took the pics here because I was considering selling them to pay medical bills. I recieved
my pension so I don't need to sell them yet. Boy! this is a tough room to post on!!!

I hope you get over all of your health care issues.
That said, I have looked over this rifle and the numbers are in the 154,XXX range
I believe, the Jew, Simpson, did build a lot of fine rifles and I now believe I own one of them.
Before the anti-Jew thing went down, he built a a lot of fine rifles and then took off to wherever he could survive.
That said, it is good that we have come beyond torture and bad times for builders of fine firearms.
This rifle is as how I described it in the heading and in pristine shape.
I love it, I shoot it very carefully and still like the hell out of it.
Regards, FM
