Gunsmithing Modifying Stock Question

I just got a new to me manners t4a stock and I need to modify it a little to fit my action. I have a defiance deviant action and the bolt release hits the stock, also the chamber opening is not as big as the action so I want to lengthen it to match the opening on the action. What is the best way to tackle this? Dremel, Mill? Any advise would be appreciated. thanks

What is it inlet for now? Manners can open the inlet.

Manners will be able to re inlet the stock for you. You can also DIY in a mill or dremel. A steady hand or 1/4" ball endmill will do the trick nicely
