This movie was awesome. Anyone else see it?

Song at the end of the trailer just in case anyone is wondering.

I did enjoy the movie, I guess it helps remembering when this was actually happening. It was a different role for Brad Pitt which was refreshing. Although I didn't really understanding casting Phillip Seymour Hoffman as Art Howe.

While Phillip Seymour Hoffman didn't necessarily "look" the part i thought he did good. He's a really good actor. The two stars were definitely Brad and Jonah. A lot of people were surprised to see how well Jonah did but he has shown good acting before. IMO for pitt it was his best performance i've seen. That's a bit of a bold statement but it also helps that this was something new for him. Like you said it was refreshing seeing him in a different role, but he also played it perfectly.

Caught it last night On Demand. Very enjoyable movie, lots of tension if you're not a rabid A's fan that remembers the 2002 game against Kansas City where the A's blew an 11 run lead in the top of the 9th.

Thumbs up from me as well! I'm not a baseball fan at all, but the movie was interesting to say the least.
