He was in a coyote calling contest all weekend and I was wanting him to post a picture of the final contest results like he did last year.

    Scott,

    Nice work.

Someday when it warms up I need to take a trip up to your neck of the woods and bribe you for some lessons in calling these critters. It may cost me but sure will be worth it... cheers

Well using an electronic call..... no when to push the call button and when to shut it off. pretty simple. FoxPro is a great tool to use to get the little shits to come in.

trust me, I know about the hand calls. I have a variety so they dont get use to just 1 or 2 calls. Bringing them in with the howls and barks is even better. they come running.

Questions on your Foxpro - what model are you using, and what do you do to prolong battery life? I've a new-to-me FX3, and batteries just don't last near 1/10th as long as those in my old 48. Might have to go back to the Stephen Hawking-sounding dying rabbit if I can't get better life soon.

Thanks! and good work on the pups....

Well, I admit I'm not using rechargeables - just Everyready's. Bought new on Saturday evening, Foxpro cut out in mid-squak about midway through it's third sequence Sunday morning. Both speakers were running, about 15 minutes total "on" time. Did call in one large yote, but was so excited I missed.

What brand to you classify as "good" rechargeables?
