More "grippy" feet for Harris?

I can't seem to get enough friction/grip to load the bipod properly, shooting prone on grass and sitting off a concrete bench. Unless my idea of "loading" is grossly off, is there any one that makes more tacky/grippy feet for Harris bipods? Or do I need to entirely switch systems? Thanks!

Hawk Hill Talons are pretty hard to beat for just about any terrain. I use them for everything except really smooth concrete or shooting off of something I don’t want scratched, like a finished deck or your truck roof, hood, etc. For those I use Atlas rubber feet. I feel like the Atlas feet are a little bit softer rubber than the Harris feet and grip a little better. I use PASS adapters on my Harris to switch back and forth.

Your perception of how much to load it is probably a bit off, you just need a bit of forward pressure, just enough to take the slack out of the system which the harris legs do pretty well on their own being spring loaded. You dont need enough to be bending the legs back on themselves or anything. And the problem with the harris feet as I see it is that they roll. I went with the tac supply talons but I dont think they exist so the only other option really is the hawk hills. But the point at the center removes the rotational axis from the equation so while the talons can still spin they dont have any radial pressure and stick tight. .

Boltfluter Did you ever get around to designing those harris feet and if so have you looked into making more?

Yes, I am testing the first proto type as we speak. Looks promising, just need to do a little more testing. Considering bringing these to market if there is enough demand.

Thanks, Paul

The hawk hill feet work pretty well on the concrete benches at the range too, it supposed me how well they bite. They are a vast improvement on all terrain IMO.

+1 for Hawk Hill. I had an annoying time trying to get them on but they are well worth it. They will grip on concrete but it is fingernails/chalkboard. The down side is you can not use them on any surface that you care about.
