More suggestions - Rear MBUIS Sight

What do you guys reccomend I put on my M4 carbine for a folding rear sight? Magpul makes one for about $50....any others I should consider?

My LWRC has a Troy folding sight but my cheap ass would rather save the money and spend the extra money on ammo practicing and get the magpul.

Also....I will be using this with a Vortex Strikefire red dot (Aimpoint knock off) so I just want the sights to be able to co-witness.

I got a couple MATECH sights for 40$ each.

Were the MATECH sights used? The back up sight I saw listed for $90...can you send me a link to where I can get that kind of price or did you buy it used?

Are we talking about the same sights that have the elevation dial that is marked off in 100 yard increments?

Yeah that's them. They are all I run on my carbines. Logical, cheap, and effective. Best iron sight all around for the money.

Hey,for FWIW matech's peep sight eventually comes loose and it'll keep popping up everytime you shoot

that being said, it takes LOTS and LOTS of shooting that cause that.

What? So your saying that your sight just pops up every once in a while? Any idea what causes that? I'll be using mine on an m4 so the recoil shouldn't be bad at all. Have you talked to customer service?

Looks like a bad ass sight but interesting that it is only set for 300 meters and further....

Mine haven't popped up. Probably takes 10k+ and a lot of beating to get there. Hell people break troys and those are widely considered to be the best you can possibly buy.

300M zero = zero rifle at 25M.

edit: just went and looked at my sights they are 200M on up.

matech is the best bang for the buck IMHO, I run it on my stuff, even my high-end rifles.
