First off, let's not turn this into another "your'e crazy for spending that much on cloths" thread. It is well known that some of us just aren't going to invest that much into our clothing. That's fine, but please keep it to yourself.

With that being said, I'd like some input. I'm looking at TAD's Covert DC pants. I've never had a problem spending $$ on the top half, now I'm looking to expand to the bottom half. I usually just buy a new pair of Carhartts every year and call it good. But I think I'm ready to invest in something more thought out.

So, anyone own TAD pants? Maybe something comparable. These will be worn for the coming 8 months of Great North West winter, so I'm not interested or worried about anything be lightweight. And one last thing, I pocket carry, so big front pockets are a plus.

Re: More TAD gear ?s

I have a pair of their softshell pants and two pairs of their legionaire cargo pants. I can't speak to ordering to size as I've always ordered one waist size up for conceal carry. Haven't had a problem with them yet. The cotton herringbone pants are a fairly durable material and stitching is enforced where required.

Thanks for the input. I went ahead and ordered a pair of the Coverts. I'll report back after I've had a chance to break them in.
