Had to post!
I began with a stock 1944 that I bought at Dunhams.
Finnish this winter!
Specs:
Mosin Nagant 1944
-Cut barrel 2"-Barrel was showing pitting so I had to cut.
-Stock was bought at a gun show! Dont know the name but had to sand and stain! Note: barrel is a free floater.
-Piller bedded--->Rock solid <----they rock.
-The butt stock shell holder is from a gun show too!
-Cut the bolt and welded it on an angle, then I polish the crap out of it, I think it took me at least two days 12hrs of hand job.I cycles better too, amazing what some good rim polish compound will do!
-wanted to re-blue the entire rifle but instead went with a satin black!
-It is sporting a Barska varmint scope.
-Modified a weaver rail in order to clear the scope.
-Bi pod is from cheaper than dirt. cheapo one!
-Sling is from Cabelas. Liked it cause it match the stock.
