Long line chain drive, air suspension to drop on the frame while parked. Someone has either a lot of time or money into that scoot. Or both. Most likely both.

Something like this was featured in the movie TRON: Legacy. Someone made a road-legal version of it, sold by Hammacher Schlemmer.

This looks kinda like a more primitive, homegrown version with a more conventional seat on it. Kinda neat IMO.
