I'm going to be purchasing a 3-15P TT soon and I'd like some input on the mount.
It will be going on a KAC sr-25. According to my figures I need at least a 1.2" high mount. I was thinking about getting this mount- [h=2]Spuhr QDP-4602: Scope Mount 34 H38mm/1.496" 6Mil QD[/h] Will this look right or will it be to tall? If so what would be the best mount for this setup? I really like the idea of having quick detach. I will be putting a battleline SAPR on the sopmod stock for cheekweld (FYI).
Thanks for any input you guys have!

I have one mounted on my MR762 in a 35mm tall ARC M10 mount. 35mm is a perfect height to just clear the lens covers. You should be fine at 38mm. I wouldn't go any higher than that though.

I love that ARC mount. That one actually can double as a QD mount. If you read the instructions it says hand tighten the cross bolts for a QD application or use the hex key to tight for a more permanent application. Also, easy of mounting because of the design means the scope won't turn when you torque the screw. That said, you might consider a Spuhr if you need/want to attach a red dot or something to the scope. Spuhr has the new QD option that looks great.

Covert is as Covert does.

Plenty of good feedback on the scout site.
