Alright, my Google-Fu is leaving me unsatisfied tonight and I don't want to make the same mistake twice:
I'm ordering Burris Xtreme Tactical Rings in 30mm for my Vortex Viper w/ 50mm obj, and I really don't want to have to deal with shipping a 3rd time. First I made the mistake of getting high rings. Off of Burris's 20 moa rail they were much too high after actually receiving them and measuring them, so I have shipped them back. Now I need to know if Med or Low are the rings I would ideally get. I was going to go with medium, but I've been reading that low works fine. The reason I bring this to your collective expertise is I have also heard low rings can interfere with actuating the bolt.
Hopefully someone can answer my (again) noobish question, I very much appreciate it and I'd like to get it right this time around.
Edit* as mentioned, this is for a Rem 700 SPS tactical.
