Gents, if you need to restock on long term food, let me know. I’ve got a guys that has a big shipment of Mountain House MCW/LRP rations coming. Pricing is $12.50 per.
It’s a contract overrun. Basically they are made to replace the regular MREs because they weight way less and have as much or more nutritional value. Attached is the pics of the Menu and an example of ingredient markings.

It’s 12.50 per serving. It’s not the civilian ones. It’s the mil MRE type.

Per mil standards it’s 2 years. Per Mountain house it’s 10 years.

Just spoke with the supplier. A cese of 20 will be $220 shipped ($11 per ration, free shipping). I bought a few cases for myself. Will post some pics and some comparison info with regular mre’s.

Mainly it has more calories and protein. Also smaller and lighter, so easier to pack.

OR can we choose what we want, and the quantity that we would like as long as it comes out to be a total of 11 meals?

FUll LRP MRE are 1500ish calories and include coffee,matches, gum, hot sauce, high calorie cookies and bars for energy and a small supply of TP (not that you'll need it for the traditional purposes while subsisting on LRP rations)...

THese are the entree's only. Not being critical as that's a good price shipped for the MH entrees, esp in these days, but you may wish to clarify that these are the entree rations only and not the full LRP MRE.

Yes, these are the main meal. And I’m pretty sure the lrp rations don’t have anything that comes with it, the mountainhouse info tells the same thing.
For those who’s been in the mil, this will be the equivalent of a field stripped mre with a little more calories. These were made because we would fieldstrip the original MREs and take only the main meals and couple other things instead of carrying 7 days worth heavy stuff on top of 70-100lbs of our equipment. As far as what they are and the nutritional value, if you look up top, everything is in the picture, and even one opened with the contents, so I honestly don’t think I’ve missed any information.
Guys, one thing I want to note is: this is not a commercial thing, I am not advertising anything and I am not going to make any money off of this. I simply happen to know a supplier that has the lrp’s, I bought some myself and thought if anyone needs some, I’ll throw in the word for all the other guys that might need field food. If you buy it, if you don’t, how much you buy it, none of that concerns me. Thank you.
In addition, if I’m not mistaken, what you have in your picture and the MountainHouse lrp’s are 2 different things.
