Second question, at what distance do you plan to zero your scope. If you plan on 100 yards, what is total elevation travel on your particular scope. Divide that in half, and if it is greater than 30, you might be OK.
Arithmetic has never been my strong suit. I typically zero at 100. The scope has 40 MOA total adjustment. I'm throwing together a spare 308 with spare parts and trying to avoid buying a new mount... but maybe unavoidable. Thanks for the reply.
