MPA BA Comp with MDT AICS mags

Hi folks,

I have a new chassis build with deviant elite action. I have 2 new mdt AICS mags. I have read in here done have had issues with feeding when pressure is applied to the mag I'm different situations. I would prefer to not find out in a match.

My question, MPA sells a little plastic plug to reduce how far the mag inserts, and a adjustable mag release. Do the new chassis need this or has the chassis been adjusted to not require. When I slide the bolt it only hits the bottom of the plastic follower even when putting pressure on the magazine.

I use the plastic plugs with an OG Vector and they work great. That action will let a mag nearly reach the top without it. Same chassis and mags by the way.

They also just dropped an adjustable mag latch too.

If you want to put pressure in the mags yes. They’re cheap and saves time trying to mess with anything else. Little dab of super glue and it’ll never come out.
