I’m not really sure this is a MOD or a hack but I didn’t know what to call it. Really just a small improvement. I just wanted to share in case someone else could use this...
My local match locations (3 across the state) seam to have the course of fire a bit far from where I park my truck for the day so going back to my truck before stage 1 isn’t really possible. With this carrying my Magnetospeed in the Wiser Mount for the day was pretty annoying.
I thought about ways to carry the Wiser Mount and Magnetospeed and really couldn’t find anything really conducive.
Long story short I went with the MPA Mount but didn’t like how it was still long and was hoping to breakdown the bayonet and Mount and put in my bag for the day.
With the screws being a tiny Allen wrench I knew in time they would strip. I found these gnarled knobs at home deport online in 4-40 thread that work perfect. And to boot they were $1.41 shipped. No clearance issues at all. Now I can break it down and put in my bag for the match.
