There is an MPA with the part number 866803004559 designated only as 65CM. In the item description it lists the “tactical” chassis. I can’t find any additional information such as what action was used for these. Any help would be awesome.

I think I saw that they were coming out with a no frills, stripped down
comp. version that will be under the $2000.00 production class.
No alterations

AFAIK the standard BA and BA-SL rifles come with a curtis axiom action, not sure about the lower priced stripped down version Jesse mentioned. Anyway, I've been getting good responses through their general customer service email (I have a BA-SL on order), though the lady did say that the BA guy is out at SHOT. Might be worth dropping an email to see if she can help you out.

Their new production class rifle uses an unspecified Curtis Custom action. They ditched the trued Rem700 action because PRS decided it was against production class rules to have an action that wasn't specifically marked by the manufacturer (like how the John Hancock is marked as a John Hancock).

It's a decent rival for the JHR in my opinion, and it's even better when you use the discount offered with PRS membership (you save more on the rifle than you spend on PRS membership).

That’s not answering the question. If a store is offloading some of the old production class rifles on the cheap...it’s probably not the newest action.
The new production rifles are also quite cheap, meaning it could very well be the answer to the question.

It's impossible to know because that part number does not match MPA's model number naming scheme (their model numbers that a dealer orders off of are pretty self-explanatory) and MPA doesn't sell a "tactical" model chassis. The old PCR BA used the BA Lite chassis, new BA PMR uses their BA Hybrid.
