MPA rifle chamber throat

I have a question about MPA built rifles. Some of them have a label on the barrel that shows that it has a chamber throat for a specific bullet like the Hornady 140g A-Max/ELD. Would be harmful to use other weights and types of bullets or will it just be less accurate?

Like steel head said, no harm. With zero direct knowledge of the MPA chamber, but lots of experience with 6.5 bullets, the Amax/ELD will require more throat than say a berger 140 hybrid. So your eld chamber should accommodate everything.

Sierra 130 gr. Matchkings. 72 year old on the trigger. Have multiple other groups with 130 Sierra’s, 130 Berger VLD’s and Sierra 144 Matchkings all under a half inch. They seen to like just about everything you want to send down the bore.
