MPA/spencer barrel

Looking to buy a 6.5 or 6 barrel for my Curtis axiom action.
The MPA/spencer barrel seems a good deal after PRS discount.
How is the quality of it compared to other popular choices, like Bartlein, Hawk Hill, Krieger and Proof?

My MPA/Spencer (purchased right around the time MPA took over, not sure who actually manufactured it) is the best barrel I've ever had. And I've had all the brands you listed above.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I am curious why is the MPS/Spencer not as popular as other brands I list here?
