Sidearms & Scatterguns MpX 8” to 6?

Wanting to buy a sig mpx, for length of handguard looking at the 8” model. I have a can with 1.25” dia. But would prefer the inside the guard look. Has anyone here DONE the chop? I know there are a few places you can send the barrel and have it done just was looking here for first hand accounts. Pics would be amazing

If you just want the look, get the rifle length handguard. I want to say I bought mine for $75.

Well have to get the barrel cut anyway as previous owner has a 3 lug welded, and my can is 1/2x28 direct thread for use on my other guns
