While I was cleaning my rifles last evening getting ready for the range this morning, I checked the torque on the two locking studs on my LMT MWS and they were right on spec. I use a Seekonk wrench for torquing the studs.
I have done this in the past and they are always tight, no backing off after many rounds of shooting...
Has anyone with the LMT MRP type set up had the studs back off during normal shooting?
Also, unless I am changing a barrel, I do not see a reason to ever remove the barrel, do you agree? I have not removed the MWS barrel since I had the scope dialed in...I may try this one day to see what the POI shift change will be if any.
