Rifle Scopes MST 100

Re: MST 100

I have one now. New with no manual. I do understand the focus. What are the incriments on the windage adj? What does the lower elevation with lever do. I would guess fine tune. Or adj for ammo, temp etc. If so which way is up? What are the amounts of change? Once focused, it looks like quite a scope. Appears tough and simple. And VERY heavy.
Are manuals avaiable?

Yes, its for finer adjustment for different loads, temps, elevations, etc. Turning the lever counterclockwise will lower POI.
The "click" value is .5MOA.

Call USO, or if you are able to get faxs PM me.

Re: MST 100

Look at the two little arrows on the lower ring. One is pointed up, the other is down. Adjust down, turn down, adjust up, turn up.
That's pretty much it, not much to them. These are also 1/2 moa clicks (meaning 3 moa each way).

Re: MST 100

Don't mess with the parallax adjustment until after it is mounted and only if you find it is necessary, after it is mounted to your rifle. This adjustment is the one tricky part to the MST-100. You did get a parallax adjustment tool, right?

Re: MST 100

Having used a Unertl 10x back when I didn't have a choice and owning an MST100 now, I will echo what was stated above.

There are better choices for less cash unless you are trying to build an M40A1 or early A3 clone.

My MST100 may get mounted on my AR10 until I can get the M40A1 done, but that's about the only uses I see for it. If I was selecting a 10x fixed I would much rather have a ST10 with the Mil EREK knob and GAP Reticle.

Before anyone asks, no I don't want to trade for one.

Re: MST 100

I have had similiar problems with a 10X Unertl, can you send me a copy of the manual. The guys at USO walked me through my first parralax adjust., they were a big help. Lonewolf has it right, scope belongs on a 40A1.
